He is a national leader in the field of structural embodied carbon evidenced by being a co-founder of SE 2050 and currently serving as its Chair. Michael is also active on several local and national committees of both structural engineering and sustainability and frequently presents on each topic. Cathleen Jacinto, PE, SE serves as an HSS Technical Consultant to the Steel Tube Institute (STI). She has over 20 years of experience practicing structural engineering on a variety of projects while at Thornton Tomasetti, T.Y. Lin International, and currently at FORSE Consulting. At FORSE, she also contributes to seminars and publications. One topic Cathleen highlights is structural steel HSS design with STI.
